Information We Collect
When you visit dimitristudio.com or contact us through our booking form, we may collect:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Information about your session preferences and scheduling
- Payment information processed securely through our payment provider (we do not store your card details)
- Website usage data through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (see below)
How We Use Cookies and Tracking
This website uses:
- Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site
- Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who may be interested in our services
- Google Search Console to monitor our site’s search performance (does not collect personal visitor data)
These tools may use cookies to collect anonymized data about your visit. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiries and book your session
- Send you information related to your photo session
- Deliver your final images through a private online gallery
- Improve our website and advertising based on aggregated, anonymized data
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Final image galleries are available for the period specified in your session package, after which they are removed from our hosting platform.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at dimi.portraits@proton.me.
Terms of Service
Deposit and Booking
A 50% deposit is required to book your date. The remainder is due before the session, payable by e-transfer, cash, or credit card.
Your date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Editing Style
By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have reviewed our portfolio and agree to our signature editing style, which is a core part of our work. We apply natural retouching — removing temporary blemishes without altering facial features or body shape.
Rescheduling and Cancellation
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. A 50% deposit is required to hold your new date.
In the event of an emergency, severe weather, or unsafe conditions, your session may be rescheduled once within 2 months, with your deposit retained for the new date.
If you cancel your session, the deposit is non-refundable.
Studio Location and Capacity
Our private photo studio is located in Spruce Grove, Alberta. We also work on location across the Edmonton area.
The studio comfortably fits up to 8 people. For larger groups of 10 or more, outdoor sessions work best. Our Premium package covers up to 15 family members.
What Is Not Included
Additional costs such as off-site studio rental, makeup artists, stylists, and clothing rental are not included in the session price and are the client’s responsibility.
Pre-Session Support
Before your session, we’re happy to help with concept, location, and outfit ideas, and can recommend local stylists and makeup artists.
Image Delivery
Portrait and family sessions: Final images are delivered within up to 14 business days via a private online gallery. Rush delivery is available on request.
Weddings: A preview gallery is delivered within one week. The full edited gallery is delivered within six to eight weeks.
The number of images is determined by your selected package and includes professional colour correction and retouching. Galleries remain available for the period stated in your package.
Weddings — Additional Terms
A signed contract and deposit are required to hold your wedding date. The balance is due before the wedding day.
An engagement session is included in every wedding collection.
Travel outside Alberta is billed at cost with no markup (flights, accommodation, meals).
In the rare event of illness or emergency, we maintain backup equipment and a network of professional photographers who can step in. Your deposit remains fully protected.
Usage Rights
Images from portrait, family, and wedding sessions are for personal use only unless a commercial licence is agreed in writing.
Business and corporate headshot sessions: all edited images are delivered with full commercial usage rights for your business.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
